Voting and Registration

Residents of the district may vote in May on the annual budget, as well as for candidates to the Board of Education. To vote, a person must be a registered voter of the school district or a currently registered voter in Nassau County, a citizen of the United States, at least 18 years old and a resident of the school district for 30 days prior to vote. For registration to remain valid, a resident must have voted in a school district election or in general elections at least once in the past four years.

Residents may register to vote at all district schools on all school days of the school year between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. up to five (5) days prior to the budget vote. Additional information may be obtained from the District Clerk. Phone: 992-7240.
